Their phe- nomenal mixture of great sound quality and high energy provided something for the longtime fans in the audience but also did a great job of converting new fans to their music. While it would have been easy for a band who has been around for more than 30 years to only play their own music, they decided to treat the au- dience to not just one but two fantastic covers, one of “Fight For Your Right” by the Beastie Boys and one of “T.N.T” by AC/DC. Performing under the cover of darkness, the band thrilled fans with fifty minutes of pure bliss. Mixing their older music with newer hits, lead singer Pete Loeffler and company gave fans who came to see them everything they wanted and more. With the band having a new album that came out recently, some long time fa- vorites got bumped out of the setlist, but the new additions provided an interesting new wrinkle to their show that was highly enjoyable. Given that the band has been around for almost 45 years, they made references to how long they had been active, starting from an era when “you couldn’t walk down the street looking like a punk without being beaten up by a redneck, a jock, or a cop”. Howev- er, the band truly aged like a fine wine, and it was a performance that blew fans away. One of the coolest moments of the show was how they not only performed their cover of “Ring of Fire” by Johnny Cash, but also opened with a cover of “Under My Thumb” by the Rolling Stones. 17
