Baked Lemon Garlic Salmon Ingredients 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each) 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoon lemon zest 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Lemon slices (for garnish) Fresh parsley (for garnish) Directions Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it or lining it with parchment paper. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, lemon zest, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Place the salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish, skin-side down. Evenly pour the lemon garlic mixture over the salmon, making sure each fillet is well coated. For enhanced flavor, you can let the salmon marinate in the mixture for about 15-30 minutes before baking, but it's not mandatory. Place a few lemon slices on top of each salmon fillet for extra citrus flavor during baking. Cover the baking dish with foil, creating a tent-like cover that allows some steam to escape. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The exact cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets. Once done, remove the foil and broil the salmon for an additional 1-2 minutes to get a slightly caramelized and crispy top. Garnish the baked lemon garlic salmon with fresh parsley and serve. 10
