On April 22nd, Orlando’s rock station 101.1 WJRR returned with their annual one- day music festival, Earth Day Birthday. Ironically being held on actual Earth Day this year, a fact noted by the multiple radio personalities introducing bands on the day, this festival was yet again held at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. This year’s edition was headlined by mega-stars Breaking Benjamin as well as popular up-and-comers like The Pretty Reckless and icons like Sevendust. Overall, tens of thousands of fans braved the brutal Florida heat to see an incredible collection of talent play in a market rarely visited by modern hard rock bands.
