32 What’s going on Ryze-Fam, we have an- other great band to expose you to. Radi- ate is a talented group of guys that came to us through our partnership with ReverbNation. We know once you hear the music you will be fans as well. Will, thanks so much for taking the time to speak with the Ryze-Fam today. So, the band hit our radar with the track “Cure Me.” It is a great song, and the video is produced well also. Tell us a bit more about that track how it came to be and how the video shoot went. Thanks for having me. We appreciate the kind words. “Cure Me” was written by our vocalist Danny and was about a sit- uation he had been in. And it gave me an idea to see it in my own way as the lyrics spoke to me as well. The video shoot did not go exactly as planned haha, but work- ing with Alex at Blackwolf Imaging he al- ways does his best and made the most out of the situation we were in. And I think it came out great. That’s good, the video slaps so even though there were issues it’s still impres- sive. Now you have dropped a few more singles since then “Scars” and “Missing Stitches” both with great videos as well. What was the inspiration behind those two? Thank you. Yes so, these videos were di- rected and shot by our lead guitarist Vlad. For Scars the Intention was for the lyrics to connect with the viewer visually by representing Danny as a voodoo doll of some sort. And I think everything came together pretty great. For “Missing Stitch- es” I feel as if Vladwanted to exemplify the solo shots a lot more which he achieved, I believe. Sweet! Now the band has a great chemis- try that can be heard in the music. How did the four of you come together? Me and Vlad were jamming together and plugging people in and out for a fit, and then Danny came and tried out for us, and we loved his voice, range and versa- tility so we agreed, he brought on Mikey and within a month we recorded our first single. Got to love it when it happens like that. Have you had the chance to play any shows since the ease of the pandemic? We have not, but we’re extremely happy to announce that we’ve recently signed with Wavelink Booking Agency to get us back on the road this summer. That’s fantastic! So, for those like myself who have not seen a Radiate show, what can fans expect when they come to see you? Ah man. Lots of energy. I’m ecstatic to get back out there and performing there’s nothing like it. We’re a very energetic group and our album exemplifies that well so, we can’t wait to go out there and share all that we’ve been working on. Well, we hope you get back out there soon giving great music to the masses. Now when does the new full length drop for us? Or will you just be dropping singles for the near future?
