For this ‘Color Block’ themed editorial fashion photo shoot I wanted the focus to be on bold, bright, and contrasting color combinations and shapes. We chose Studio 7 Charlotte for the location. It’s a modern studio with clean lines and ample studio lighting which was perfect for showcasing the vibrant color combinations. The models are wearing some of the latest colorful fashion pieces hand selected by me from Target, mixed with vintage items from GUESS & Belk Stores. Model Hailey Bella’s Black lace-up boots are by Kylie and Kendal, while Model Barb Fleuret’s nude heels are by Aldo. Accessories are minimal to allow the focus to remain on the bold color combinations. I also kept the hair minimalistic to draw more attention to the makeup shapes and color combinations, creating a striking and cohesive look that highlights the theme of the photoshoot.
