Taste of Charlotte 2025 hits the streets from June 6–8, bringing flavor, music, and fun to the heart of Uptown. If you’ve never been, now’s the time to go. If you’re a regular, expect new tastes, surprises, and energy this year. For three straight days, Tryon Street becomes a foodie’s paradise. Local restaurants and food trucks serve up bite- sized portions of their best dishes. Admission? Free. You just buy festival coins to sample what you want. Whether you’re craving ribs, tacos, vegan sliders, or something deep-fried on a stick, it’ll be there. A Food Festival for Ev- eryone Taste of Charlotte isn’t just for serious foodies. It’s perfect for families, friend groups, date nights, or even solo explorers. The event offers over 100 menu items from restaurants across the city. You can try signature dishes, discover new spots, or just snack and stroll. This year’s lineup includes returning favorites and brand-new vendors. Ex- pect Charlotte staples like Midwood Smokehouse, Pinky’s Westside Grill, and Seoul Food Meat Co. You’ll also see newcom - ers who want to wow the crowds. There’s something for ev- ery palate—meat lovers, vegetarians, and adventur- ous eaters included. Music, Entertainment, and Vibes What’s a street festival without live music? Taste of Charlotte brings a steady stream of local bands and performers to its three live stages. You can eat, dance, and soak in the city’s talent all in one spot. Charlotte-based DJs will keep the energy going dur- ing the day. At night, ex - pect full band performanc - es with rock, R&B, funk, and soul. If you’ve got kids, don’t worry. The Kid’s Zone fea - tures interactive games, rides, and hands-on fun for all ages. It’s a full family- friendly experience. Local Businesses and Community Love Beyond the food and mu- sic, Taste of Charlotte also shines a spotlight on the city’s small businesses and makers. Local artists, brands, and nonprofits set up booths throughout the event. You’ll find hand - made goods, artisan jew- elry, fashion, and wellness products. Many vendors offer exclu - sive event deals. It’s a great place to support Charlotte entrepreneurs and take home something unique. The festival also partners with local charities. This year’s proceeds will help support Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina and Levine Chil- dren’s Hospital.
