22 By the time Beartooth came into the lime light, The Senate was packed full and the energy of the room was wild. Fans were stacked along the rails, waiting in angst them to come on. After the first few songs, Caleb Shomo, the lead singer told the crowd, “We’re here to do one thing and one thing only…and that is to rip your faces off.” They did just that via their intense breakdowns and high-speed tempos. They played a good mix of songs from their newest album “Below”, along with some of their best-known songs like “Dis- ease”, “In Between”, and “Bad Listener.” Bear- tooth knows how to rock the house, and Sho- mo seemed to own the stage the entire set. They ended the show after a fifteen-song set and came back playing one of the best encores I’ve seen to date. Their last song of the night was solely in- strumental and had an awe-inspiring solo from drummer Connor Denis, making for a grand conclusion to an awesome night.
