21 shut out the negativity. I think about my younger self and the ambition and passion that first fueled my love for music. And, of course, my family they’re my biggest support system. “Tell us about your new proj- ect, XQ1X2, and why you de- cided to release two versions.” We originally wrote the song en- tirely in Spanish, and I loved it. But as we kept working on it, I realized the Spanglish version felt more like me. So we decided to release both versions to fully represent who I am as an artist. “You also released a music video for this song. What is that process like, and do you prefer making a music video or recording the song?” That’s a tough question! They’re very different creative processes, so I don’t really compare them. I’m heavily in- volved in both, and each one al- lows me to express the song in a unique way. “Finally, what can fans ex- pect from you in 2026?” There are so many exciting things coming in 2026. We’re kicking off the year by releas - ing my song “Worship” in Jan- uary, along with a visualizer.
