16 17 teachers? Thank you! I think that’s more of natural talent. I did go to a few vocal coaches, but I outgrew them all quickly. Some even telling me that there wasn’t anything else they could teach me. I come from a family of singers; I think It’s just in my blood. Very blessed indeed. Now we caught notice of you from your song “Good Feeling”. When I heard it, I was impressed. It is so well produ- ced, and your vocals are so on point. Made me want to rock it in a convertible Bentley or something. I was happy to see you had a vi- deo for it. Tell us more about that song, what/ how it came about. And tell us about the video. lol that’s the vibe I was going for. This song is heavily influenced by a group called “Moon - child.” I had just discovered who they were not too long before writing. Also, my headspace was directed toward love and trying to find it. I wondered if I would ever find someone who is compatible with me, someone I truly was into. Since I hadn’t found that person yet, I decided to write about what the perfect guy would be like for me. How he would make me feel, what I would say, think and do. The video is a representation of that. imagi- ning someone who feels perfect for you - but isn’t quite real. I did the best I could to show that considering we had just a couple of days to brainstorm and put it together. Not to men- tion the weather was working against us and all kind of other things lol. But overall, I’m glad about the way it came out! Yes, it did come out well. Now fortunately I was happy to discover you have an EP called Re- ady. So, I rocked it and wow!!! For me I went on this journey like you were unsure about yourself then found your confidence then you experienced freedom. And all the tracks are fire. Tell us about the EP and its production. Thank you! That means a lot! I did have some anxiety around releasing this EP and music in general because I wasn’t too confident in myself or my voice. I just didn’t feel like I was enough. It was something I struggled with for a while . It had been two years since I had re- leased new music, so I knew it was time to put something out. People would always ask me when I was coming out with something new, or what I had been up to, and I would always say “ I’m cooking up something right now”- but I wasn’t really doing anything that pertained to releasing any new music. One day I had a major breakdown - I was an - noyed at myself. Because I really wanted to believe in myself and be a better more confi - dent version of myself and I could set my fears aside to do it... until I did. The next day I had a burst of energy and I just started writing and getting things together. Of course, the anxiety and fear showed up throughout the process, but I didn’t let it stop me. That’s what the EP is about. Those two ye - ars that I wasn’t releasing music. I was finding myself, learning to grow and love myself. The songs are about topics that took up a lot of space in my head. I decided to be honest and tell my story. OH, for production - I did that all myself. I wrote and produced my entire EP. I did get the beats from Venuzbeats - he’s ba - sed out of France! That’s wonderful, and you did such a great job conveying that into the music. Use your ima- gination and put together the perfect concert for fans to come see. You being the headliner of course. Who would be on that bill and why? I would say Raveena, Sabrina Claudio, or Mo- onchild. I feel like we’re all similar artists. We have the same energy and that same sound. I think we’d mesh well together. Sounds like a great concert!! Are you planning
