Thanks for taking time out to speak with us tonight Laurie. Love the photos submit- ted, how long have you been modeling for now? I started modeling a couple years ago. I’ve always dreamed about becoming a model since I was a little girl but didn’t pursue it until I turned 18. What caused you to decide to take the leap into the industry at that time in particular? I can’t say it was anything specific that made me decide that this was something I wanted to do. I’ve just always been drawn to the whole idea. I brought the idea up to my parents when I was fifteen, but they wanted me to wait until I was older to pur- sue it. When I turned 18 a local photog- rapher reaches out to me and ask if they could photograph me and that when I knew that this is something I truly want to do. Excellent! Very smart to wait, the biz can be crazy. So, you showcased Runway 45 designs by Cara Morris. Great work, if you could pick your next designer to work with, either locally or internationally who would it be? I think if I could work with anyone it would be Zuhair Murad. I love when I get to work in beautiful gowns because I feel like prin- cess and his are stunning! I don’t know if he will be the next designer I get to work with, but hopefully someday I’ll have the honor to wear one of his designs. Hopefully that will happen soon for you. Have you had the chance go travel outside of your local area for work?And if not where would be your ideal place to go shoot? I have not had the chance to travel outside my local area, but if I could go anywhere it would probably be New York. Only be- cause I think New York has better opportu- nities for me and my career. Now many models have a genre they love to model. Do you have a style of modeling you prefer the most? I would have to say I prefer high fashion or editorial modeling. I think I fit into that style better and I tend to enjoy it more. I don’t have as much experience in that part of the industry as I would like, but I’m planning on changing that this year. That’s wonderful look forward to seeing more of your work. Now is there anything else you would like to say to the Ryze Fam before we go?
