in our heads we knew we wanted this band to be comprised of badasses. Larry previously played with Joey in Auxilia, so he was immediately on our radar for drums. Kyle played guitar in several tour- ing bands and Joey did a tour with him during his days in Deception of a Ghost. We knew we wanted those dudes, but we had to reach a level with our songwriting to get them on board. Once we had them on our team, J ended up joining the fray and then we spent about 6 months gear- ing up for our first show which was pret- ty nerve wracking. Stepping out on that stage with the boys for the first time made it all worth it. Still one of the greatest mo- ments of my life. What’s your approach to live perfor- mances? How do you strive to create memorable experiences for your audi- ence? We have a running joke that we don’t call our shows “shows”. They’re parties. When you come to see LANiiDAE, you’re actu- ally coming to party with us. When we’re on stage our only goal is to move, send the energy through the roof, and make it impossible for you to stand still. Whether it’s ten people in the crowd or a hundred, we’re bringing it all the same. What can fans expect from LANii- DAE in the near future? Are there any upcoming projects or collaborations you’re particularly excited about? I can proudly say that we’re working on our first full length album. It’s been a long time coming, and we’re insanely stoked to show everyone what we’ve been cook- ing up. We’ve been on a pretty rigorous schedule of releasing singles, so don’t ex- pect that to change. Lots of new music, lots of shows and tours, and a whole lot of fun coming your way in 2025. When people look back at LANiiDAE years from now, what do you hope they’ll remember about your music and the impact you’ve made? When it’s all said and done, I hope peo- ple look back at our band and what we’ve done and just think it was cool as hell.
