4 THE ART OF REINVENTION: WHY IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO START OVER There is a common belief that life follows a fixed timeline. Musicians have found audiences after decades of performing in small ven- ues. Authors have published bestselling books after years of rejection. Their stories re- mind us that success is rarely defined by age. It is shaped by perseverance and the will- ingness to keep moving for- ward. The people who embrace change also tend to inspire those around them. Friends, family members, and coworkers often gain confidence after watching someone pursue a long for- gotten dream.
