You’re on Tiktok almost daily doing lives. How important do you think that is now a days for an artist trying to get known? I believe that, unless you have a strong reason not to be on TikTok, it can benefit every artist. Not only has it supported me financially and helped grow my community, but it has also surprisingly boosted my artistry in many other ways, espe- cially my confidence in my voice. While it’s not the only path to growth as an artist, it can defi- nitely be beneficial. Any message for your fans or maybe any new folks who are hearing you for the first time? I think many of us struggle with feeling different and misunderstood for various reasons. Those same feelings kept me isolated for a long time, making me feel like I didn’t belong anywhere. Music became a safe space where I could create a sense of belonging for myself. If you can relate, this is your space too. 22
