Crews construct tempo- rary garages, high-tech timing booths, and refueling stations — essentially building a fully functional racing headquarters from scratch. Behind the scenes, high-speed internet networks and data systems are installed to de- liver real-time stats to teams, broadcasters, and race control. It’s a massive effort, but it doesn’t stop there. Race weekend means ongoing maintenance. Debris gets cleared instantly, barriers are checked, and track con- ditions are monitored constantly. The goal: keep the race running smoothly and safely from start to finish. And when the checkered flag waves? The teardown begins immediately. Within days, the streets return to normal, with little evidence left behind — except the lingering memories of an epic weekend.
