You blew us away with the track Bre- athe. So first tell us about how the group formed and then tell us about the song Breathe. Thank you so much for taking the time to chat with me and for the opportunity to introduce ourselves to your readers, I’m so glad ‘Breathe’ is speaking to you! Ships Have Sailed started as a collection of songs that weren’t really a fit for my main project at the time (which was a rock / hip-hop genre ben- ding band)...but I felt a strong connection to them, and I didn’t want to pitch them for anyone else to sing. So, I started putting together some demos, played them for a couple close friends and they were like: “these are cool! what are you going to call it?” So, I started working a bit more seriously on the production and as that ramped up things started falling apart with my other band (for different rea - sons - a story for another time perhaps) and so as
