So who out there is a fan of The Walking Dead? If you are and you didn’t make it down to the 1st Annual Senoia Dead Bash, then you missed out!
On May 26th, at the Historic Veranda Bed and Breakfast in Senoia, GA, collaborators and friends, Oscar Rodriguez III and Scott Spillman held a showcase of fantastic art. Their partners, Casey Miller and Becky Jones exhibited some serious hustle and magic assisted by Michelle Geiermann-Trendov to make this affair a never to forget experience.
This was truly a one of a kind event for any fan of The Walking Dead. Oscar and Scott, along with award winning actor Xander Berkeley (Gregory on TWD), and Robin Overton (The Black and White Guy), displayed their magnificent artwork and spent time hanging out with fans answering questions and posing for selfies.
The Dead Bash was a limited, ticketed event after 5pm, so it was an intimate setting and really worth fans time and money, although from 1-5pm anyone could walk through and enjoy meet and greets and vendors. No long lines but plenty of celebrities such as Xander Berkeley (Gregory), Joshua Mikel (Jared), IronE Singleton (T- Dog), Peter Zimmerman (Eduardo), James Chen (Kal), Sabrina Gennarino (Tamiel), Jake Kearney (Nelson), Karen Ceesay (Bertie), Jeremy Palko (Andy), Nicole Barre (Kathy) and WF Bell (Savior), along with countless others were all on hand for autographs and photos. Seth Gilliam (Father Gabriel) and Jayson Warner Smith (Gavin) were also in attendance and enjoyed walking through the event saying hello and lending their time to meet some fans.
In addition to the astounding artwork, celeb meet and greets and vendors, tickets holders also enjoyed food provided by Nic and Normans and music by DJon1. The event MC, Chris V. from BeaztModeNY, held interviews of the cast members and assisted with the silent auction which raised money for Animal Hope and Wellness and Royal Animal Refuge. Adorable puppies were on hand for adoption and as of today, are now all in their forever homes thanks to this event!
The 1st Annual #SenoiaDeadBash was a complete success and I highly recommend that anyone who loves The Walking Dead, breathtaking art, music, dancing, food and fun make it a priority to attend the next time around!
